Mindfulness has been a part of my life almost all my life! I lived a contemplative life for eight years in the 1970's at a yoga ashram, which, along with my family's alternative interests, influenced the direction of my life towards awareness and mindful living. Over the years, I have continued to practice mindfulness and participated in many personal and professional growth retreats. I incorporate mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapy and holistic health skills into my body-centered practice focusing on trauma resolution and joyful living. In addition, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and am trained as an EMDR therapist.
