Teaching our clients skills to regulate their body, mind and emotions is critical in the psychotherapy process. However, most clinicians are not taught the tools to bring the body into the therapy room.
This class will cover:
polyvagal theory
the skill of interoception
the language of sensation to keep clients out of their heads
clinical questions to draw clients into their bodies
trauma informed skills to prevent overwhelm
props for clients to feel their bodies
experiential exercises to practice these skills

Certificate Requirements: You must be in attendance for the entire class to earn a Certificate of Completion. Certificates will be awarded for 6 CEs. There is a $5 fee for replacing lost certificates.
